It AIN’T Over, ‘Til It’s OVER

15 Apr

April 14,1946 Jack Roosevelt Robinson became the first Man of African descent to play the “AWL-AH-MER-KIN” sport of Baseball in the ‘MODERN’ day.

The photo of Mr. Robinson stealing “home” during the World, (‘SUBWAY’), Series against the inter-burrough rival “Knew- Yaurk” Yankees is the vision of “audacity” that many, besides Lawrence Peter “Yogi” Berra, would have to witness and record from that historic day.

The Television networks have planned many events to commemorate this day, as well as many ensuing, to wave as big a flag as they can buy to help this nation “PLAY-THROUGH-THE-PAIN” that IS DESTROYING US so soon after such a SUCCESS in the “GROWING UP” process.

An interesting fact in the history of a “Child’s” Sport played by Men is the strange similarity that centers around a once infinitessimal village located in the State of Florida… SANFORD.

TIME may attempt to heal all wounds, but when the “offspring” of the ‘INFECTORS’ continue to open those, and similar types of , the Social GANGRENE Rhizomes its ways throughout the regions surrounding.

George Santayana encased what this nation has forgotten about Humanity at its most vile…

“Progress, far from consisting in change, depends on retentiveness. When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

* This famous statement has produced many paraphrases and variants:
Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
Those who do not remember their past are condemned to repeat their mistakes.
Those who do not read history are doomed to repeat it.
Those who fail to learn from the mistakes of their predecessors are destined to repeat them.
Those who do not know history’s mistakes are doomed to repeat them.”

As we think about the numerous inter plays of history, intellect, and a “faith” in OUR BECOMING BETTER to each other my child-like use of my own type of “numerology” allows me to use this formula…

Jackie Robinson wore the number 42 as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers, combining into the number 6. Since this IS a SUNDAY, ( The official “day-of-rest”.), the number 6 WOULD be the ENDING DAY “OF”. Of the foolishnesses to try and retain an ATTITUDE that is PATENTABLY FALSE and a SOCIAL SMOKE AND MIRRORS that HAVE been guardedly “hidden” behind Gossamer CURTAINS for TOO LONG.If you notice Mr. Berra’s uniform number Eight the culmination of this is in the “eighth day” theory of “fulfilment”…

(jbburnett.com/resources/schmemann/schmemann_intro-2-8th-day.pdf )…

The finality of the final ridding of these crimes against OUR OWN “HUMANITY”.

It’s VERY difficult to make a definitive decision ABOUT something/ SOMEONE when the INFORMATIONS are so SKEWED…

That’s NOT a BASKETBALL, (Or GUN!) in Trayvon’s hand.
